Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page. We share what books that we found in our mailboxes last week. I had another light week and only received two books. This is allowing me to catch up on all of the books that I have to be read.
My books didn't come from the mailbox, necessarily (some are from the library!) I'm in the middle of the new Michael Connelly ("Scarecrow -- am really enjoying it), and recently finished "His Edge," by Wayne Harding. Great action/adventure/romance even! story about a civilian test pilot (after WWII) and the three women who love him. It's also got some spirituality involved. It's not just any one genre -- inner struggles of characters interest me, so I liked watching our hero develop and change as he questioned love, a demanding and VERY risky job and a spiritual relationship.
And next up, after these two, is I think a Lee Child book. I can't remember...
Gifts of War looks like a good one!
