Saturday Snapshot

Here are a couple photo's of beautiful homes from our trip to Heidelberg, Germany in 1996.....

My husband and I went to Germany to visit my family and we took a trip to Heidelberg. I love the beauty of European homes and as we walked the streets of Heidelberg I took photos of these two homes that caught my eye.

We were able to get up close to this home as we walked the streets of Heidelberg. I found the bridge/walkway fascinating from the street view.

  3. I love those shots....and I, too, enjoy old architecture, although I have to enjoy mine in books and movies. At least until I get over there!

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  4. Both very cool homes. Love the bridge, and love the greenery in the brick wall of the first one.

  5. I also love the tradition of window boxes full of geraniums and petunias.

  8. Nice images -- I like the curviness of the homes, the departure from sharp edges everywhere. Feels very old fashioned but lovely.

  13. That is gorgeous! Whenever I see homes like that though, I think I'd definitely need to hire a housekeeper to keep it clean. :)
