Here are a couple photo's of beautiful homes from our trip to Heidelberg, Germany in 1996.....
My husband and I went to Germany to visit my family and we took a trip to Heidelberg. I love the beauty of European homes and as we walked the streets of Heidelberg I took photos of these two homes that caught my eye.
We were able to get up close to this home as we walked the streets of Heidelberg. I found the bridge/walkway fascinating from the street view.
Gorgeous, they take my breath away!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful houses! Love the little turret on the first one at the bottom of the house! And love this bridge to the white house! Thanks for sharing your photos!
ReplyDeleteI love those shots....and I, too, enjoy old architecture, although I have to enjoy mine in books and movies. At least until I get over there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
Both very cool homes. Love the bridge, and love the greenery in the brick wall of the first one.
ReplyDeleteI also love the tradition of window boxes full of geraniums and petunias.
ReplyDeleteWow, there must be a lot of stairs to get to that top house.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous homes. Sounds like a fun trip. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteNice images -- I like the curviness of the homes, the departure from sharp edges everywhere. Feels very old fashioned but lovely.
ReplyDeleteboth of these homes are stunning! Feels like fairy tale houses!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I would love to see those homes in person. The details look amazing. Hope you had a terrific trip!
ReplyDeleteI find most European architecture intriguing. This post is quite interesting!
ReplyDeleteI soooooo want one of these homes - especially that first one!
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! Whenever I see homes like that though, I think I'd definitely need to hire a housekeeper to keep it clean. :)
