Friday Finds: March 5th

What great books did you hear about/discover this past week?

My Finds:

(To be released May 2010)

About Hannah's List from Debbie Macomber's Website:

On the anniversary of his beloved wife’s death, Dr. Michael Everett receives a letter Hannah had written him. In it she reminds him of her love and makes one final request. An impossible request. I want you to marry again. She tells him he shouldn’t spend the years he has left grieving her. And to that end she’s chosen three women she asks him to consider. During the months that follow, he spends time with Winter, Leanne, and Macy, learning more about each of them . . . and about himself. Learning what Hannah already knew. He’s a man who needs the completeness only love can offer. And Hannah’s list leads him to the woman who can help him find it.
I'm a sucker for Debbie Macomber's books, they are pure comfort reading for me.  Macomber has a style of writing that  just pulls me right into the pages and I feel as if I know the characters. I always look forward to her newest books and I can't wait for this one.

  1. Me too, Bonnie (her books are comfort reads). Looks like a stand alone, not part of a series. I'll watch for it.

  2. I've never read any of Macomber's work, but I do have one in my TBR pile. I hope you get the chance to read this one.

  3. Bonnie, I love Debbie Macomber's books too. I'm very much looking forward to this one. I think it is connected to the Blossom Street books, at least in part. Her books just make me smile and feel good after I've read them. Like a warm afghan.

  5. This looks like a good book. I haven't read any of her books although I did watch Mrs. Miracle this past Christmas on the Hallmark Channel and I guess that was based on one of her books.

    Here are my Friday Finds.
