Mailbox Monday-June 8th

Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page. We share what books that we found in our mailboxes last week. I had another light week and only received two books. This is allowing me to catch up on all of the books that I have to be read.

Gifts of War by Mackenzie Ford (Doubleday)

Castaways by Elin Hilderbrand (Hachette)

  2. My books didn't come from the mailbox, necessarily (some are from the library!) I'm in the middle of the new Michael Connelly ("Scarecrow -- am really enjoying it), and recently finished "His Edge," by Wayne Harding. Great action/adventure/romance even! story about a civilian test pilot (after WWII) and the three women who love him. It's also got some spirituality involved. It's not just any one genre -- inner struggles of characters interest me, so I liked watching our hero develop and change as he questioned love, a demanding and VERY risky job and a spiritual relationship.

And next up, after these two, is I think a Lee Child book. I can't remember...
